Accessibility
Barcelona Provincial Council is revising the contents of all pages on its websites and adapting them to the accessibility criteria established under current legislation, in order to facilitate access to its contents to the largest number of users possible, particularly the disabled and the elderly.
To reach this goal, we have followed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 1.0, established by the Web Accessibility Initiative working group of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), AA level.
This website meets W3C standards and recommendations in regard to XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2, which ensures compatibility among platforms and versions of web browsers, and enables the structure to be separated from content presentation.
