Vilafranca has adapted its museum to the 21st century and has converted it into the VINSEUM, the Museum of the Wine Cultures of Catalonia.
At VINSEUM you can explore the histories of wine with all five senses.
From El Penedès, with a glass of wine or cava in your hand, the VINSEUM is the ideal place for contemplating the modern world.
The exhibition ¿Tasting VINSEUM. What's in a glass of wine?", examines the following questions: Has there always been wine? How do you ensure a good grape harvest? How do you know a wine is ready to leave the cellar? Is the work of a vineyard an art? Does wine bring back memories? Or does it make us forget? How much time is there in a glass of wine? How many questions about vines, wine or cava can you come up with? This exhibition is a game of questions that invites you to explore the history of wine and winemakers out of your own curiosity.
Admission includes wine or cava tasting at the end of the visit.
