It starts following the showing of an introductory video film about the history of copper. The first area of the museum covers the history of the company. The second explains the discovery of copper, the origins of metallurgy and the importance of this metal from the beginning of the Copper Age to the Industrial Age. The third area of the museum deals with copper as a chemical element from a scientific viewpoint, that is, copper and its chemical and physical properties. The fourth houses an exhibition on copper technology and applications and shows the different industrial processes by which it is obtained, worked and purified. This first part of the visit ends with a showing of the teatrí video film.
The second part takes place via a walkway, a vantage point from which to observe copper production and processing in the La Farga Lacambra works. Visitors will see the copper foundry, the old colony buildings, the wire drawing plant and the warehouse.
