Restaurant Cal Batista

The hostel’s name dates back to the 1960s, when the former hermit of the Paller shrine, Joan Baptista Tallada, came to Bagà and built the first building to be set up as an inn. In 1973 the restaurant was expanded and became as it is today. The management changed in 2000, which has given it a new air but it still retains the flavour of the past. Today, Cal Batista offers its customers comfortable accommodation and very good home cooking that is based on traditional cuisine using local and seasonal produce.
