Mediterranean Trail (GR 92)

We walk along the sea and climb the hills of the coastal mountain range, enjoying the breathtaking landscapes and maritime environments of the Mediterranean.

The Mediterranean Trail GR 92 is a long-distance itinerary in stages that runs along the entire Mediterranean coast, from Portbou to Ulldecona, and extends to the tip of Tarifa, at the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula. It is a very attractive trail that, beyond the beauty of the coastal landscapes through which it passes, also climbs the coastal mountains, which offer great views. The route also reveals charming villages, where we find all the services and can enjoy the excellent seafood cuisine of the Mediterranean.

The GR 92 enters the counties of Barcelona by crossing the Tordera river, in the north of the Maresme, leaving Barcelona by crossing the Foix river, south of the Garraf. There are twelve highly varied stages, where we discover fishing villages, long beaches, small coves, steep cliffs, and the mountains of the coastal range: Montnegre and Corredor, Sierra de Marina, Collserola, Garraf ...
