Like every good land that is known for its cured meats, Osona celebrates Fat Thursday with a great festival. Do you fancy coming along?
Fat Thursday in Vic starts the night before. Some huge grills are placed in the town square to roast the pigs that will be eaten the following day. All night long and through until midday on the Thursday, the meat is slowly roasted just the right amount of time to be able to enjoy it for lunch. The square also houses two marquees, a culinary one that serves food all day long and one for activities, with exhibitions and workshops. If you are in Vic, you should try the pork!
