Picnic and beach, the perfect combination
This fantastic park is set on a hill in the built-up area of Canet de Mar. There are 5 wooden tables on the south-west of the hill, most of which are in the shade. The park has several entrances; at the Font del Drac (Dragon’s Fountain) entrance (coming from Carrer Eduard Farrés) there’s a children’s play area.
Situated right next to the beach, this picnic area can be reached from the seafront promenade and is just 300 metres from the train station. It has 5 wooden tables in a small tree-covered space where you can also find a fitness circuit and some benches from which to contemplate the sea. It’s a great spot to shelter from the sun for a while and to enjoy a meal with a view!
This large picnic area in the town of Castelldefels (not on the beach) is located at the end of Carrer del Castanyer. It has 13 tables (including 5 double tables for large groups) arranged in two separate spaces. Some of the tables have sun and shade but 5 of them are fully under the shade of a pine grove, well protected from the sun. It’s a very nice area for strolling and there’s plenty of space for playing and resting.
Pretty and peaceful park with 5 wooden tables opposite a children’s play area, which includes a zip line. With all the tables in the shade, it’s a great picnic spot if you’re going with small children. It’s a park that’s got everything; in addition to the children’s play area and picnic tables, there’s a football pitch, a musical games zone, a garden of the senses and some toilets. We recommend strolling right around this park with lots of lovely hidden corners. It’s right at the southern end of the town, set back around 200 metres from the beach.
This large picnic area is located on Avinguda Josep Moragas, 500 metres from the beach. Its 8 wooden tables are directly in the sun but have a wooden structure through which you can create some shade with a beach towel or throw. Several olive trees have been planted next to the tables but they’re still too young to provide shade. A portable toilet is located nearby and there’s a football pitch behind the picnic area. This is a very big park and the tables are on the southern edge. There’s a fairly large skate park in the central area, along with several basketball hoops and a ping-pong table. On the north side of the park there’s a children’s play area and a bar-kiosk which is not related to the picnic tables.
