From Michelin-starred restaurants to small mountain inns who serve hearty traditional breakfasts. In Barcelona's regions, you have many ways of enjoying a whole gastronomic universe without setting foot in the kitchen.
The Hostal de Mura restaurant is near the church in the historic centre of Mura in the Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac Nature Reserve. It serves homemade market cuisine. This establishment was the town’s inn 350 years ago. The Hostal de Mura has always opted for traditional cooking, a feature that has lasted up to this day. The restaurant is small and inviting, and the interior has a double vaulted ceiling made of stone and a fireplace. The dishes served are large and plentiful, and are made with local products and meats. Amongst the house specialities there is cod with ratatouille, pig's trotters with snails, rabbit with mushrooms and trinxat from La Cerdaña.
