In the city of Vic, you can enjoy a new proposal combining art and gastronomy.
The Episcopal Museum of Vic and the Casa Riera Ordeix comprise two attractions of a city that has managed to combine the traditions of the past with a modern art and gastronomic offer.
The tour starts at the museum, where you will discover a collection of medieval art, with painting and sculpture masterpieces from the Romanesque and Catalan Gothic periods. Afterwards, you will be able to climb the cathedral's bell tower to see the city of Vic from a 46-m viewpoint. Then, the tour continues to the Casa Riera Ordeix: a traditional company that has made the famous sausage (longaniza) from Vic for more than 163 years. During the tour, you will visit the facilities in order to see, among others, the traditional manufacturing process and taste this highly valued sausage, an ambassador of the city of Vic.
