The Modernist route of Canet de Mar is the only one that includes a visit to the Casa museu Lluís Domènech i Montaner.
The tour begins with an outdoor walk along the Modernist historic centre of Canet de Mar and continues with a visit to the museum. Outside, you can interpret the façades of several modernist houses, such as the Ateneu Canetenc, the Roura and Serra Pujadas houses, the town hall, Joaquim Floris' house, Can Puxan and the Carbonell house, among others.
Still in the museum you can visit the masía Rocosa farmhouse from the 17th century, which was the workshop of the architect, and then the Domènech house, that Lluís Domènech designed especially for his family with the help of his eldest son, Pere Domènech i Roura and his son, Francesc Guàrdia i Vial. Both are guided tours.
A guide service is available every first Saturday of the month for which no prior booking is required (although the guided tour can take place any day if the group exceeds twenty people).
