Over 45 castles, 25 of which are open to the general public, are the jewels of mediaeval heritage in the region of Anoia. Some are easy to get to, while others are more isolated, but they all hold plenty of historical and cultural interest. Do you already know the most famous ones?

Olèrdola

Before the Romans disembarked on the coast of what we know today as Catalonia, the peoples generally referred to as the Iberians occupied the length and breadth of the area between the 6th and 1st centuries BC. The regions of Barcelona were home to different tribes and each of these sites is devoted to one of them.
