Masia Restaurant el Bellver

Their cuisine is distinguished by its creativity. With the set price menu, you can try first courses such as goat’s cheese salad with raisins, sunflower seeds and mustard vinaigrette; seasonal vegetables and Girona apple pie - cooked au gratin -, or the foie gars and magret duck breast cannelloni with mushroom béchamel, amongst others. And some examples of the second courses are the roast pig's trotters on a bed of lettuce and soy vinaigrette, as well as duck leg confit with a homemade pear jam. For dessert, it's 'Grandma's cake' with fruit yoghurt and chocolate. The set menu provides a list of choices from which to choose, and as such, is changed weekly. El Bellver is a completely self-sufficient building, with solar panels, a water source and an ice pit. They operate a nearby vegetable garden and are committed to regaining the true flavour of produce. It only opens on the weekend, or during the week for groups with an advance booking. The price of the meal also includes a visit to the nearby Agustín farmhouse, which now serves as an ethnography museum.
