Designed to host groups, and built with this in mind, the Viladoms de Baix hostel was renovated and expanded recently, and now has three one-story buildings on a closed 25,000 square metre estate. What hasn’t changed is the environment, and Montserrat Mountain serves as an example of this.

A non-profit organization that looks to offer work integration to disabled people directs the Inout Hostel, a hostel which also defends ecological values at its location in the middle of the Collserola Natural Park. The hostel has a wide range of activities and a very original programme for exploring Barcelona.

To encourage environmental education and love for nature is the main goal of the Associació Catalana de Cases de Colònies, a non-profit entity that manages the summer camps, hostels, nature schools and la Fundació de l’Esplai campsites.

A chalet refuge with room for 30 people located on the northern slope of the serra de Rubió. When the warden is present it can host twenty people in bunk beds with mattresses and blankets, a bathroom and a shower. The emergency refuge can host 4 people.

Torre Ametller is a great house that was built between 1917 and 1920. It is a stately building in the Noucentisme style that has been a hostel since 1985. Surrounded by a spectacular garden and an 11-hectare estate, it is located only four kilometres away from the Cabrera de Mar beach.

Surrounded by forests and with a large outdoor area, the hostel is very close to the source of the Llobregat river, the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park and the Catllaràs mountains. In the area there are examples of work from Antoni Gaudí.
