Mas La Riera

Mas La Riera is a typical Catalan farmhouse located four kilometres outside Vic and only an hour from Barcelona and Girona. Used for raising organic chickens, it preserves the original Catalan vault architecture with thick walls and high ceilings. The house, which has been recently restored and retains the antique furniture, offers country breakfasts and dinners outdoors in the summer months.Guests can discover life in the country and enjoy nature;guests can go hiking or cycling (the Camino de Santiago or Way of St. James crosses the farm), visit the nearby Romanesque church of Sant Martí de Sentfores and discover the many attractions in Vic.The house is also the ideal starting point for trips to Montseny, Guilleries and Collsacabra, and visiting Rupit, Manlleu and the Colonia de Borgonyà.
