Set in the conglomerate mountains of Sant Llorenç del Munt, Mura forms part of the Montcau valleys, whose environment, with its abundance of vegetation and fauna, has always shaped a lifestyle linked to the land. These days, many of its terraces and vineyards are abandoned, but the town still retains the charm of the splendorous Middle Ages, still visible in its Old Town, with its stone houses and Romanesque Church of Sant Martí, and enviable surroundings with amazing springtime landscapes, such as Pare Gorge (or 'Father's Gorge').
