Mas del Tronc

A chalet refuge with room for 30 people located on the northern slope of the serra de Rubió, near Prats de Rei and Igualada. When the warden is present it can host twenty people in bunk beds with mattresses and blankets, a bathroom and a shower. It has a chimney and it is possible to cook. The emergency refuge can host 4 people.

How to get there by car The refuge is located on the north side of the Serra de Rubió, near Tossal de l´Orri. You can get there on the Igualada to Prats de Rei road, until Castell de Rubió. From tghere, take the castle road until you pass the wireless repeater. There is a path on the left which leads to the refuge. How to get there on foot On foot from the Castell de Rubió path. From Igualada 4:00 hours, from Sant Pere Sallavinera 2:45 hours. Activities
