Tapas 24

This establishment, situated in Calle Diputación, very close to Barcelona’s Paseo de Gràcia, opened in 2006 and, according to its owner, chef Carles Abellan, pays homage to popular, everyday tapas, to classic tapas and to the typical old Spanish 'bareto”, or bar room. In fact, the décor in the restaurant, although modern, bears great resemblance to the bars of yesteryear. Some of the tapas guaranteed to delight are: Spanish omelette with ham; squid sandwich; or the meat and potato “bomba de la Barceloneta”. The restaurant also has an extensive wine list and terrace. Advance bookings cannot be taken.
