L’Anoia chick pea

The l’Anoia chick pea is small in size and grows to three times its volume when cooked. It is a variety which differs from the common chick pea for both its taste and its texture, which isn’t at all sandy. It’s a summer crop which is picked by hand. It can be served in different ways: in salads, with vegetables, as hummus, or in casserole or soups, amongst many other dishes and combinations.Eating this legume encourages better digestion and brings a wealth of amino acids and essential minerals.
