Pedraforca Lluís Estasen

A refuge located in a stone and slate house at the foot of the Pedraforca mountain, in Jaça del Prat. It can host 87 people when a warden is there, and 30 people when he is not. It is fitted with bunk beds, mattresses and blankets and it has a bathroom, a shower and electricity. It is possible to cook and it has a radio transmitter.

How to get there by car The refuge is lcaoted on the Jaça del Prat, at the foot of the Pedraforca. The refuge is reached from the road to Saldes, and from there on an asphalt road to the Gresolet viewing point. There is a 15-minute walk from the viewing point to the refuge. How to get there on foot Asphalt track from the Gresolet viewing point, 15 mins; from Saldes, 1 hour 15 mins; from Gresolet, 1 hour 45 mins; from Serra d´Ensija, 3 hours 45 mins; from Prat d´Aguiló, 4 hours 30 mins; from the Sant Jordi refuge, 6 hours 30 mins.
