Ca l'U

Ca L’U is a classic restaurant in the capital of the Osona region that was revamped and moved to its new, stately location in June 2006, in an 18th-century manor house with frescos on the walls painted by Francesc Pla, known as El Vigatà. This elegant and distinguished setting is perfect for enjoying one of their wonderful meals. At the beginning of the 50s, the Reniu family took over the establishment which ever since has become a compulsory stop en route for reps, business people, politicians and visitors to the regional capital. It specialises in traditional Catalan cuisine made with fresh, seasonal market products. Classics on the menu include: special house cannelloni, sole medallions with prawns; brains in batter; crunchy cannelloni with pig’s trotter and butifarra blood sausage with a reduction of port wine; soup of red fruits; and the special house cake, a classic passed down through the generations.
