Les Eres de Guardiolans

This large country house, which dates to the 11th-century, was built in the style of the great Catalan mountain houses with numerous outbuilding, and its own chapel. It has undergone several renovations, with the last full restoration carried out after the Civil War, which completely destroyed the house. It is located in a small valley between Vilada and Boreda (Berguedà), framed by two spectacular mountains and surrounded by pine forests and with views of Montseny, Montserrat and Sant Llorenç del Munt, a swimming pool and different areas for a range of activities.. Guests can visit Sant Jaume de Frontanyà, the ancient Monastery of Sant Pere de Portella and the Catllaràs massif, making for the house the ideal starting point for hiking, mountain biking, climbing, fishing, mushroom picking and water sports in the Baells reservoir.
