Casa Tomás is a simple cottage built in 1718 which has been completely restored into a spacious and comfortable lodging which retains its original structure. It is decorated with the home's original furniture, which has been restored, and farm tools and utensils.It is located in Rubió (Anoia), 15 kilometres from Igualada and 70 from Barcelona, in peaceful and quiet spot ideal for walking and cycling, visiting the town's springs and exploring the region's dry stone huts.Romanesque and Gothic churches and prehistoric sites can be visited in Rubió; the region also provides a variety of cultural, entertainment and dining options: hot air balloon and horse rides, discovering the industrial heritage of Igualada and Capellades and the neighbouring Montserrat and the Cistercian Route.
