La Manyosa

La Manyosa offers guests a trip back in time to austere stone rooms, clay pot roasts in wood-fired ovens and histories for the telling. The architecture of the establishment is what gives it its character, as a result the spacious rooms feature stone benches next to arched windows, vaulted ceilings with wooden beams and basic furnishings. The house is the headquarters of the La Manyosa cultural association and offers a variety spaces for organized gastronomic events or for cooking with family or friends. The country house complex includes a chapel dedicated to St. Hubert, popularly known as the Capella dels Templers for the figures painted al fresco by master painter, Carles Arola. The chapel does not form part of the original construction, but was built between 1978 and 1980.
