Suquet de l'Almirall

After 25 years of history, El Suquet de l’Almirall decided to change course and get ship-shape. The crew, larder and type of cuisine have not changed and nor has their commander, Quim Marqués, but they have raised anchor for smoother sailing. The new Suquet has a more informal menu, shorter with up-to-date prices boasting seafood starters, rice dishes, quay-side fish and their latest creation: Catalan paella. Their philosophy is very simple: making seafood recipes in the port of Barcelona. They buy their main ingredients right on the quay-side, just a hundred metres from the restaurant, and they change the menu twice a year.
