Garraf

This beach is to the east of Garraf port, at the foot of the hills that form the Coma Roja range, and offers good views of the Garraf range. It has a length of 345 metres and an average width of around 29 metres. The sand is fine, mixed with stones, with a very shallow entry in the sea.On the western side, between the beach and the railway, is the picturesque area known as Les Casetes del Garraf. This is a kind of maritime district built virtually on the beach. The wooden huts are refurbished huts that the fishermen used to keep their tools. There is also a hotel on the beach and a couple of restaurants. The small village of Garraf is a few metres away and offers some more restaurants. The beach has showers, toilets and rescue team, as well as ramps for people of limited mobility. Sunbeds, parasols and paddleboats are rented. It is very busy in the summer months. From the beach, pretty excursions can be made in the Garraf Natural Park.
