Amister Art Hotel is a former family residence in Barcelona's Eixample neighbourhood, which dates back to the 1940s and which retains its original façade and wrought iron gate. The hotel offers pleasant and comfortable accommodation in its 59 spacious rooms, all of which are fully equipped and decorated in a modern style. The establishment stands out for its modern artworks.Its former owners, who were contemporary art collectors, decided to use the hotel as an artistic space and allocated some of the hotel’s floors and spaces to various artists so they could exhibit their work there. A video channel available in the hotel’s rooms allows guests to enjoy one of the largest video art collections in the world.
