The Alella Designation of Origin is the land of the pansa blanca, a grape variety typical of this viticulture and wine production area. Climbing from the plain of Vallès and the Maresme coast it crosses the hills of three natural parks: Serralada de Marina, Serralada Litoral and Montnegre i el Corredor. The Alella DO is located at the gates of Barcelona and offers several wine tourism routes for you to enjoy all its treasures.

In the heart of the Bages region, specifically in Valls del Flequer, an itinerary has been created to visit the dry-stone vats that were once used to make wine in the vineyards a long way from the towns. The route begins in the town of Pont de Vilomara and runs along both sides of a stream amidst an extraordinary landscape that will take your breath away.
