The Montseny Nature Park, with its fairytale forest trails, is just one of the 14 parks and natural areas in the province where you can unwind. Moreover, throughout the province you will find many cycling tours that are suitable for beginners and experienced riders alike; road biking, mountain biking or gravel riding are your choices.
Sun and beach?
On the Barcelona coast, you will easily find the beach you are looking for: a secluded cove where you can relax to the sound of the waves, a family-friendly beach with all the amenities or a long stretch of beach, perfect for sports. On its beaches you can swim, enjoy the sun, water and sand, as well as practice all kinds of water sports. To round off your getaway, there is nothing better than a first-class food and wine experience among the vineyards or in a cosy restaurant. Three local designations of origin —Penedès, Alella and Pla de Bages— offer tours of their wineries and tasting or pairing activities for unique wine tourism experiences. A wine tasting while admiring the vineyards and the sunset is a great way to connect with the land and enjoy life's simple pleasures.
