Electric bikes are a very interesting means of transportation, because they allow you to share the great pleasure of being in contact with nature with children, grandparents, friends or your partner. Thanks to their pedal-assist system, everyone can keep up the same pace without having to worry about getting tired or tackling steep climbs. The Alt Penedès region is another prime area to explore on two wheels, thanks to the many wineries that are open to cyclists. In Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, for instance, the Cava Centre organises several activities to enjoy the experience of blending cava and nature. At the Ca l’Artigas farmhouse, in the heart of Subirats, you can taste the estate's aged cavas, take part in farm work and stroll through the vineyards before getting back on your 21st-century bike.
