Penedès360 – the region at your pace!

A wine-growing region full of contrasts, with a gentle landscape that is just perfect for exploring it on foot, by road bike or on a mountain bike. This is the Alt Penedès, a region close to the sea with a privileged climate, where the gastronomic, cultural and, of course, wine tourism offerings make a visit a very pleasant, perhaps unforgettable, experience. The Penedès360 project allows you to explore it in stages, either on foot or on two wheels.

Slow Bike Route

The Penedès plain is perfect for exploring it by bike, at your own pace, as suggested by the Slow Bike Route – Penedès360. The cycling circuit is divided into four stages, not particularly difficult and, in addition to the vineyards, will allow you to discover castles, monasteries, hermitages, small villages and dry-stone buildings. Each stage is between 35 and 49 km long, with a cumulative elevation gain of no more than 600 metres. Vilafranca del Penedès, Sant Jaume dels Domenys, Torrelles de Foix or Sant Sadurní d'Anoia are some of the places you will pass through.

By mountain bike

The Slow Bike Route has a counterpart in the same region, the Penedès360 MTB Route, which is more technical and suitable for people with minimal training and climbs the Penedès mountains. The route is designed to be completed in three, four or five days, with the total distance being 281 km, with a cumulative elevation gain of 7,000 m. The sections include forays into the Garraf region and reach coastal towns such as Sitges.
