The Hoe Fair
The Hoe Fair is the historical recreation of the Festival of the Mysterious Light of Manresa. Cross the city walls, travel back in time to the Middle Ages and discover the legend for yourself.
Artisans and masters of ancient trades converge on the old quarter of Manresa to demonstrate their skills, while minstrels tell stories. These and other elements will take you back to 14th -century Manresa, where you’ll relive a time when a mysterious light caused Peter IV of Aragon to construct the sèquia, an irrigation canal. This is one of the liveliest festivals you’re likely to come across, with surprises around every corner!
