Associació Vic Informadors

The Vics Tourist office gives tourists the chance to learn about the history of the city with explanations from experts from the Associació Informadors Vic. One of the main activities that they organise is a guided tour of the historic centre, which takes place on Saturdays. This is the traditional market day in the square, where you will find clothes, crafts, birds, flowers and regional products, among other local items. Later, at five in the evening, is when the tourist guides suggest visiting the old city walls, the Roman temple, the town hall and the muralist Josep M. Sert's paintings in the cathedral. The route also includes a visit to the main collection in the Museu Episcopal.Other activities with a more specific content are also offered, such as a visit to the cathedral, which includes the crypt and bell tower, another to the Museu de l'Art de la Pell or thematic routes like those relating to bishop Oliva or to the writer M. Àngels Anglada.
