La Serra de Cap de Costa 2

The history of the farmhouse of Serra de Cap de Costa is long and probably dates back to the Middle Ages, when central Catalonia was being re-conquered by the Catalan counts. Its existence has been documented since the 13th century. The lodgings occupies an old building spreading over two floors, featuring two separate and independent apartments which share a common entrance, accommodating six and seven people, respectively. Both feature fireplaces and a rustic décor which harks back to the past, with stone walls and lintels, vaulted ceilings or wooden beams, and antique furniture. The house itself offers activities for guests, which allow them to truly experience rural life, such as working in the garden, milking the cows, feeding the chickens and collecting eggs. Guests can also buy organic seasonal produce from the farm.
