The stone walls and wooden beams were preserved during renovation and comforts were added, such as the carpeted floor and modern, rustic decor.Paratgea is on the edge of the Montnegre i el Corredor Park and is a short distance from Montseny, which makes it an excellent location for going on walks and excursions, both on foot and by mountain bike or on horseback. Equally, its proximity to the coastal towns of Maresme makes it just a short trip to the beach.
