El Racó de la Cigonya

Luís and Elena Fàbrega have created a new gastro-concept in El Racó de la Cigonya based on traditional Catalan cuisine. They have built their business on serving the best seasonal produce. The menu for this restaurant in Santa Margarida i els Monjos features rice with lobster, cod confit and Penedès Barbary duck with prunes and pine nuts. The desserts are highly tempting, particularly the house tiramisu and the three chocolate textures. The air-conditioned wine cellar holds over 150 different wines and cavas, half of them DO Penedes. The wine is sold at market price only adding a service charge.
