Ca l’Estevet

This restaurant is located in the heart of old Barcelona, in the Raval neighbourhood. It is an establishment steeped in tradition both in terms of the rustic interior design and its market cuisine. Dating back over one hundred years, it was renovated in 2008 to continue offering traditional cuisine although now with a creative touch. Its décor has keeps photo souvenirs of illustrious characters who have crossed its threshold. On its not particularly extensive but highly suggestive menu, you can find dishes such as Catalan-style spinach, quail with hummus , oxtail with wild mushrooms, oven-roasted back of kid with baby vegetables, escalibada (grilled vegetables), veal with wild mushrooms or cod with garlic and quince jelly oil. For dessert, you can choose from a fruit salad with Catalan cream foam, in addition to ice cream, homemade pudding with honey and cottage cheese. Catalan wines take preference among other national denominations of origin.
