La Palmera

In this former hardware store converted into a restaurant, they suggestively mix a whole series of very different elements: small marble tables, paintings, wine bottles and a wide variety of tinned products. It's a restaurant where you might go for a great lunch or just a bite to eat. There's a little bit of everything on the menu, from croquettes or a selection of cheese to more elaborate dishes such as foie raviolis with truffle sauce, cured duck ham and foie mi-cuit; cep stew-pot with eggs over easy; Café Paris fillet; cod au gratin; grilled foie tatin with a reduction of Pedro Ximénez, or a carpaccio of Emmental, papaya, Jabugo cured ham and foie mousse. All this comes with tomato toast. The offer is rounded off with traditional desserts and an outstanding wine cellar with a wine list including 300 references from the main Catalan denominations of origin and some products from the rest of Spain, particularly La Rioja. They offer meals to take away and, in summer, they have a pleasant pavement terrace. Inside there is a separate dining room used for private meals.
