Hostal Sant Cristòfol

The Hostal Sant Cristòfol restaurant opened in Santa Maria de Merlès in 1976. The house speciality is game and dishes that are made during the wild mushroom season. The beef stew is also well worth trying, as is the wild duck with pears, wild boar stew with mushrooms and the roe deer stew. Their hearty breakfasts are also highly tempting too.
