La Pentola

La Pentola is a pizzeria-restaurant in Mataró, the capital of the El Maresme region. It opened in 1996 with the aim of offering authentic Italian cuisine using top-quality ingredients imported from Italy. Its menu includes: antipasti (starters), carpaccio of meat or fish, fresh salads, cheeses and Italian cured meats and sausages. The pastas (dry, fresh and homemade, stuffed, gnocchi etc.) are all accompanied by a wide variety of sauces. The pizzas are homemade in the purest Neapolitan style, prepared in front of the customer and cooked in a wood-fired oven. The restaurant also offers meats, cod, fresh tuna... All accompanied by good Italian wines. To finish, there are homemade desserts including tiramisu and Italian liqueurs (grappa or limoncello).
