Tragaluz

#
The iconic premises of the Tragaluz Group are in the passatge de la Concepció in Barcelona, a private and quiet passage that connects passeig de Gràcia and Rambla de Catalunya. The restaurant serves well-presented modern Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, prepared using market-fresh produce. Inaugurated in 1989, it was completely remodelled in 2011. The result is very attractive, and the design of the space is spectacular. A movable glass roof allows you to enjoy lunch in the sun and dinner in the moonlight. The first floor has a kitchen which is open to the dining room. Dishes prepared here include smoked salmon tartare chatka, roast lamb with pineapple and cumin or carpaccio of veal with foie gras mousse. There is also an oyster bar. On the second floor, you can see Mariscal's sketches for the restaurant's logo design, which decorate the walls of the staircase. Here you can eat more informally, with fireplaces and sofas for coffee or a drink before dinner.
