Founded in 1946 by Lluís Dorca Marcè, this restaurant has been passed down through the generations and is now run by the founder’s grandchildren. It is based in an imposing stone house in the heart of Rupit which is now run as a hotel and restaurant.The restaurant serves high-quality Catalan cuisine, prepared using locally-sourced seasonal produce, which can be accompanied by wine or cava from its cellar. As well as the à la carte menu, there is a seasonal menu and on Saturdays you can reserve a “Pack Estrella”, for two people, which includes an aperitif, an assortment of starters, a main dish (with a choice of meat or fish), desserts and coffee, all accompanied by a good cava.
