Cambados

Located on the seafront near the beach, its atmosphere is one of an old bar, and its décor made up of old photos of bygone Mataró. Copper pots and fishing utensils hand from the walls. The tablecloths, decorated with paintings, create the perfect setting for trying out some of the rice dishes, (seafood paella, mixed snails, mushrooms and quail, arròs negre, fideuá and so on). To start, a list of options to nibble on: snails, sautéed prawns, steamed or marinara mussels, fried fish, grilled baby octopus, Galician style octopus, patatas bravas, marinated chicken wings, razor clams, and cider chorizo. There's a small terrace outside that’s very popular during nice weather, both for having something to eat and really getting to know the vermouth.
