Parador de Cardona

This is the restaurant of the Cardona Parador (state-owned hotel), housed in the town's former castle. The castle is an 11th century fortified site which retains the towers, the defensive walls and the moat, and has splendid views of the Cadí mountains. In the Parador's medieval dining room, you can enjoy a menu based on traditional Catalan cuisine, made using high-quality seasonal produce: an assortment of cured meats and sausages, seafood stew or grilled meats. Close by is the Montaña de Sal Cultural Park mining area, which you can visit and explore on foot or by bicycle.
