Les Anquines

The Les Anquines beach, located at the end of the Sitges Promenade, is the smallest out of those that continue from the mentioned promenade. It has fine golden sand, like all the beaches in this area, and is protected by two breakwaters which were built in the 1920s and give it a crab-like appearance. Its entry slope into the sea is gentle so it is ideal for children. However, in some areas the sand alternates with small rocks. It is around 160 metres long and an average width of about eighty metres. On the west side there is a boatyard for small boats, and very close to it we find the Terramar hotel, with which it shares the rescue service and the public toilets. The beach also has showers and foot-washers, beach bar, access ramps for the disabled, and sunshade, deckchair and pedalo rental. It can be accessed from the promenade, where we can leave the car in the paying areas. We can also get to this place by means of the tourist train that covers the promenade.
