Les Botigues

This beach is a western extension of the great stretch of sand that is Castelldefels beach, without any element to indicate when one finishes and the other starts. Although it is just a couple of kilometres from the urban centre of Castelldefels and 23 kilometres from that of Sitges, the beach belongs to Sitges municipal area.On the western side, the beach is flanked by the breakwater of Port Ginesta, a large sports port where you can find numerous shops, bars and restaurants. It is almost one and a half kilometres in length and is an average 116 metres wide. At the top, the sand is partially covered by scrub. The sand is fine and the slope into the sea is very shallow (you have to walk quite a long way before you are covered), so it is very suitable for family tourism. It is equipped with all habitual beach services, several various beach bars and offers easy access for people of limited mobility. On the seafront, which runs along the whole beach and stretches to the town of Castelldefels, there are numerous restaurants.
