This fish, also known as swordfish, is characterised by its white and semi-fatty flesh with an intense taste and aroma. It is sold throughout the year, however the best time to buy it is during the winter months (from January to March) as well as in the autumn. It is also healthy for the heart and contains a lot of fibre. It is delicious char-grilled, griddled, in batter or casseroled.
