The Inglaterra Barcelona hotel, which opened in 1999, is located in the city centre, just off Plaça de Catalunya, in a renovated 19th-century building that retains the façade, entrance columns and iron balconies so characteristic of the period. The 60 warm and elegant double rooms feature dark-marble bathroom, soundproofing, minibar, cable TV and Internet access. It has two special rooms that pay homage to Dalí and Gaudí. These are over 30-square metres and have their own terrace. The hotel also has a restaurant with a large window overlooking the street, where a buffet-style breakfast and à la carte lunches and dinners are served.
