Arts Barcelona

One of the flagships of the Barcelona hotel chain is this spectacular hotel, which is located in a unique setting, the Port Olímpic, and with unlimited views to the city, the port and the beach of Barceloneta. The building, which is owned by the Ritz Carlton chain, was erected precisely for the Olympic Games in 1992 and is an impressive glass tower featuring different shades. Its design is attributed to Bruce Graham, who afforded it an exterior white iron structure and turned the building into one of the symbols of the new Barcelona architecture. The sculpture El peix d'or, by Frank Gehry, changes hue with variations of the sun and precedes the hotel access, which is distributed over 43 floors, where nothing is left to chance. The bedrooms maintain the care for detail that characterises the ensemble, which is shared among the more than three hundred double and nearly one hundred special rooms. It also boasts several luxury, duplex-type apartments with kitchen and one to three bedrooms, which occupy the top nine floors crowning the building.
