This spa hotel is located in a landmark place of Caldes de Montbui, opposite the famous Font del Lleó and the Roman baths. Its Art-Nouveau building treasures a history dating back to 1729, which is evident in its facilities – unquestionably imbued with a 19th-century scent –, although they have been updated after several renovations. A splendid garden with flower beds, magnolias, vines and lawns, which seems destined to inspire a period film, is home to a covered terrace and a swimming pool. The décor in keeping with the whole building coexists with the latest technology, including wireless Internet access. In addition to the well-equipped rooms, there are new apartments, which are located in the gardens, next to the pool, and equipped with living room, kitchen, desk and shower are added. The spa facilities, with an indoor pool and a separate spring that flows at 74 degrees, offer therapies of all kinds, which are indicated for stress, neuralgia, obesity and rheumatism. The treatment menu is varied and ranges from bubble baths to shiatsu and cold wraps. You can also shape up your body in the gym, with aerobics or on a bike tour in the surroundings.
