L'Hostal de Centelles

The Hostal de Centelles is a small establishment located in the village of the same name. It offers simple and comfortable rooms equipped with everything necessary to make your stay enjoyable. The tower-gate of the Casa de la Vila is one of the most iconic elements in Centelles for two reasons: because it is a sample of urban defensive architecture of the mid-16th century (the sole remnant which remains standing of the ancient circle of walls and towers surrounding the nucleus of the town) and because the city council met in its main hall up to the mid-19th century, and then again since 1928, after the restoration of the gate. But, apart from visiting the village on a trip into the past, you can also do activities such as climbing, on the via ferrata of Baumes Corcades which runs up to the top of the Cerro de Puigsagordi over nearly-vertical rock faces surrounded by a superb landscape which changes according to the route taken by the path.
